Setlist from Austin

Last week I took some time to pore deep in the history and archives of the world we all know as PLUMP. As it turns out, our show on Saturday was PLUMP show #161. Since we realized that, we in the band PLUMP have decided to remember the Austin show as the "Great 161st Show Spectacular". Hopefully, some day there will be some sort of documentary or DVD depicting the pageantry of this hallowed event.

As such, here is our setlist from Austin last Saturday night.

(#161) SAT NOV 27, Headhunters, Austin, TX (opening for Eric Tessmer Band)

Electric Netwerk Machine (of Rage?), Timequake, Day Tripper, Word Gets Around>Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Scarlet Begonias>Scar Funk, Memphis Soul Stew, Buddy Boo, Everybody Wanna Get Rich (Right Away), Harry Carrey

In other events, Andrew, Al, and myself went to watch the Ramones documentary called "End of the Century" last night. Very good documentary and definitely interesting characters in the band. I recommend. Actually, over the last 4-5 months there have been some very good music documentaries made. Here are the ones we have seen:

1. End of the Century (The Ramones)
2. Dig! (Dandy Warhols and Brian Jonestown Massacre)
3. Some Kind of Monster (Metallica)
4. Festival Express (Canadian Traing tour featuring Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, The Band, etc.)
5. Lightning in a Bottle (Blues concerts)

Andrew is the only one in PLUMP who saw number #5. However, this movie inspired him to perpetrate what will forever be called the Angelique Kidjo incident. For further info, I suggest you contact Andrew. That is all.
